By employing innovative liquefaction technology and delivery strategies, Western and our development partners, the Nisga’a Nation and Rockies LNG, will provide a long-term source of demand for Canadian gas. Additionally, delivering affordable natural gas to overseas markets dependent on imports will help reduce CO2 emissions around the globe.
A proposed 12-million-tonne-per-year LNG project at Wil Milit, north of Prince Rupert, BC near the Nisga’a village of Gingolx, Ksi Lisims LNG will bring abundant, low carbon Canadian natural gas from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to rapidly growing markets in Asia.
